You will need:
4 Clay pots (approximately 3″)
Paint (red or pink)
Paint Brush
Glue Gun
Glue
Lollipop Sticks
Green Styrofoam (the ones for artificial plants)
Artificial Grass Ball (or green moss)
White Foam
Sharpie (any colour – I chose pink/purple)
**Optional: Lollipop Candy
Instructions:
1. Paint the clay pots. I chose a pink colour.
2.While you let the paint dry, cut out 4 hearts from the foam. Decorate these hearts however you’d like. I chose to spell the word ‘love’.
3. Take apart the grass ball using pliers so all that remains are the grass and stems.
4. Use the glue gun to glue green Styrofoam to the base of the painted clay pots.
Step 5: Add the cut plastic grass to the Styrofoam. Make sure that it looks full so the foam doesn’t show.
Step 6: Glue the foam hearts to the lollipop sticks.
Step 7: Place the foam heart on a stick in the pot making sure it’s secured in the foam.
Optional:
Instead of using foam hearts on a stick, you can use store bought chocolate lollipops. Wrap the entire pot with chocolate in plastic, tie with a ribbon, add a gift tag and you can give them away as gifts.
Use the potted love to decorate any surface of your home.
