You will need:
Yarn
2 DPNs (the size that corresponds with the yarn chosen)
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
A tiny bit of Fiberfill
Instructions:
Cast on 2 sts. (Make 2 of these)
1: KF&B twice (4 sts)
2: Purl
3: K1, KF&B, KF&B, K1 (6 sts)
4: Purl
5: K1, KF&B, K2, KF&B, K1 (8 sts)
6: Purl
7: K1, KF&B, K4, KF&B, K1 (10 sts)
Continue in this manner until there are 26 sts on your needles and ending with a purl row. Note: You can make these hearts smaller or larger by simply repeating these rows until there are less sts or more sts than 26.
K10, K2TOG, K1 turn your work (leaving the other 13 sts on the needle) (12 sts)
P9, P2TOG TBL, P1(11 sts)
K8, K2TOG, K1 (10 sts)
P7, P2TOG TBL, P1 (9 sts)
K6, K2TOG, K1 (8 sts)
P5, P2TOG TBL, P1 (7 sts)
K4, K2TOG, K1 (6 sts)
Bind off these 6 sts.
Reattach yarn to remaining 13 sts.
K1, K2TOG TBL, K10 (12 sts)
P1, P2TOG, P9 (11 sts)
K1, K2TOG TBL, K8 (10 sts)
P1, P2TOG, P7 (9 sts)
K1, K2TOG TBL, K6 (8 sts)
P1, P2TOG, P5 (7 sts)
K1, K2TOG TBL, K4 (6 sts)
Bind off remaining 6 sts.
Stack both knitted hearts with reverse stockinette facing each other. Sew edges together leaving approximately 1″ open. Stuff slighty with fiberfill. Sew the remaining 1″ closed.
Repeat for as many hearts as you desire.
