This past week I’ve had my oldest friend visiting, not the oldest age-wise, oldest as in I’ve known her since I was 5. So we’ve been busy and I haven’t had much time with my computer. We went to Canada’s Wonderland on Wednesday and surprisingly it was the perfect day. The weather was great, sunny but not too hot; and it was a school day so there weren’t long line ups. I remember going a few years back and loving the rides, loving the thrill and the rush. This time not so much. There must be a certain age you reach when all of a sudden you’re completely aware of your own mortality. And riding the crazy roller coasters with the tiniest seat belts made me so completely aware and frightened. But we rode all of them except for Leviathan (the biggest one). We are blaming it on “the only ride that had a huge line-up” but we all know it’s because we were too afraid to do it, well I was anyway.

All in all I haven’t had much time to knit, so I missed WIP Wednesdays (but I didn’t have any new work to show off). So I’ll leave you with some nice pics.
