Day 9: 14 Days of Valentine’s Crafts

You will need:

Toilet Paper Rolls (as many as the number of colours you will be using)

Paint (red and different shades of pink)

Plates (to mix paint to achieve desired colour)

3 Canvases

Ribbon (not shown)

Glue gun and glue (not shown)

Instructions:

1. Mix paints to achieve your desired colours.

2. Shape toilet paper rolls into hearts by folding one end and rounding the other.

3. Dip one end of the roll into one of the paint colours.

4. Take dipped rolls and stamp it onto the canvas.

Step 5: Ensure that one end of the roll is completely dipped in the paint.

Step 5: Stamp roll onto canvas.

6. Repeat steps 5 and 6 multiple times. Then repeat with a different colour, also many times.

7. Let dry.

8. When it’s dry, plug in and turn on your glue gun. Cut 3 pieces of ribbon; 2 small ones (approx. 4″) and one larger one (approx. 7″).

9. Flip canvas over and using your glue gun, glue smaller ribbon to the back of the canvas.

10. Repeat with other end of ribbon to the bottom middle section of the other canvas.

11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the middle and top canvas.

12. Glue the larger ribbon to the middle section of the top most canvas. Flip the ribbon and glue the end of it to the canvas (it will form a loop).

13. Hang the canvases on the wall and admire.
